Kamun Chan is the owner and operator of the East Coast Sushi Buffet.
Kamun Chan, who serves as general manager at the Jacksonville location, initially emigrated from Hong Kong to San Francisco, where he managed and operated restaurants before moving east to help Benny with the new restaurants.
“We offer a tremendous value for lunch or dinner,” says Kamun. “That value, along with the variety of food they have to choose from, keep our customers coming back for more.”
East Coast Sushi Buffet features more than 150 items served fresh each day from five large stainless steel steam tables in the center of our restaurant.
Both lunch and dinner menus include a wonderful array of choices.
A variety of seafood, featuring shrimp of all types (fried, boiled, broiled and stuffed), crab legs, baked crab meat, baked salmon, and steamed mussels. Asian items include sesame chicken, lo mein, egg rolls, vegetable and sushi tempura, and an assortment of soups including wonton, dim dim, hot sour and egg-drop.
And from the traditional California Roll to Dragon Roll, an array of Sushi is available - all prepared by a chef from a center-island Sushi Bar.
A chef also prepares your steak to order while you watch at our Hibachi Grill.
More traditional American-style entrées include pork loin, roast beef, pepper steak, barbeque, chicken wings and chicken strips, side items including French Fries, mashed potatoes with gravy, and steamed vegetables including green beans, corn and cabbage to a variety of salads.
A buffet stand is dedicated to desserts - including assorted puddings and pies, fresh cut bananas dripped in a homemade sweet sauce, and several flavors of ice cream.

The restaurant is large and roomy, with a seating capacity of 300 that can easily handle large families and groups. It also has two separate private dining areas available for reservation with no additional room charge.
East Coast Sushi Buffet offers on-site catering for office parties and other private events, and accepts take-out orders for lunch or dinner.
